Glorious Summer Camp addresses the social and educational needs of scholars from low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds by providing affordable and enriching summer programs.

Our curriculum

Literacy

Scholars work to maintain or exceed their current reading level. Workload may include: reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary.​

Mathematics

Scholars hone their math skills with individual and group assignments.

Technology

Scholars learn valuable technology skills use to navigate throughout the school year.

Science

Scholars are immersed in fun and exciting science curriculum including field trips to museums and in-house science projects.

Reading and Math Groups

Students are split into reading and math groups which operates on a three-hour rotation. 

1-hour of reading 

1-hour math

1-hour of technology

Progress Monitoring

Our campers are assessed during the first two weeks of camp and during the last two weeks of camp on the skills covered throughout the summer. We also conduct weekly progress monitoring for all reading and math groups.

Enrichment Activities

Twice a week, our students engage in off-campus enrichment activities and field trips such as trips to the pool, the Discovery Place, tours of the  Knights Stadium, and so much more!
